Did you know that one of the best ways that an entrepreneur can stand out from the competition is to write a book?
When you’re an author, you have a business card that lasts forever, sharing your message and wisdom with the world. In fact, a book is often your ticket to getting invitations for paid speaking engagements, media attention, information products, higher fees, and a steady stream of clients.
However, writing and marketing a book can be challenging, especially if you don’t know where to begin. Aspiring authors can get bogged down and never finish their books, or, even worse, write a book that no one wants to buy. Some people even get bored because they give up during the process.
The point is to never give up… it’s how you go through the process that determines the outcome! And giving up, should NEVER be the answer…
“There are no failures… only quitters.” ~ Russell Simmons
Next month there’s a free event that will teach aspiring authors: “Successful Author Secrets: Navigating the Course from Aspiring Author to Best-seller and Beyond. “ This program will feature 21 successful authors who will tell you the truth about what it took for them to become successful.
You can grab points from this and apply it to your journey as an author. If you are even remotely considering writing a book to build your business, check out the all-star line up of speakers at this on-line event happening in August. And, you can attend for free!
Keeping It Real — yes, there is an option to the paid version of this, however, if you’re in a financial crunch, at least give yourself the opportunity to grab the free information!
It starts August 2nd and you can participate for FREE! To get started get your virtual seat here.
So, if you have dreamed of writing a book, are in the middle of writing one, or have a book completed that is not doing as well as you like, you’ve got to check out this program and make your OWN informed decision – going from zero to hero!
You know me… I keep it real!

P.S. Top reason aspiring authors fail? Lack of knowledge. Comments? I’d love to read them

Regina, having books with my name on them has been a serious driver in moving my business efforts forward. People should understand how much hard work is involved in creating a book, getting it published … & in promotion, to make it all work to optimum levels.
You are right on the money. And that’s the point, eh?!
Great piece.
I’ve got a whole shelf of books in my head about to be released! LOL! There’s a method to doing it right too – that’s why I shared this information… do it right the first time, then rinse and repeat
Thanks for sharing Linda!

Regina,
I believe writing the book is the easy part. Marketing and promotion is the KEY. Sadly, I have purchased a number of books that weren’t a great read but the promotion behind them was phenomenal— which sparked my interest and opened my wallet
I love seeing my name in print but I really want to make sure there is some quality to what I’m writing. I realize not everyone will like my style of writing or what I’m writing about but for those who do I want to make sure they receive some message.
If you ever want to team up sometime and do a teleseminar on book writing marketing and promotion, I’ll be happy to help out.

Marketing your book is a matter of making friends, lots of friends. This is the absolute truth about book marketing. To make your book marketing fast, choose a book distribution system.
Since I just completed my book, I sure wish I’d known about this seminar earlier!
