My awesome friend and dynamic radio host and radio coach, Raven Blair-Davis of WomenPower-Radio is launching her new LIVE radio show, “Careers From the Kitchen Table” on March 5, 2008.

When Raven first told me about the show, I thought, “hmm, I never associated the word “career” as a business, i.e, entrepreneur.”  Have you?

I looked up the definition of career and here’s how dictionary.com defines it:

  1. an occupation or profession, esp. one requiring special training, followed as one’s lifework
  2. a person’s progress or general course of action through life or through a phase of life, as in some profession or undertaking: His career as a soldier ended with the armistice. 
  3. success in a profession, occupation, etc. 
  4. to run or move rapidly along; go at full speed. 
  5. having or following a career; professional: a career diplomat. 

As you can see, in a nutshell, having a business can easily be associated as a “career.” 

Not only did Raven tell me about the show, she invited me to come on as her Marketing Executive.  How cool is that? 

Careers From The Kitchen Table, (a terrestial radio show, which means the show will be aired on a.m. radio opposed to internet radio or podcasting BUT this show will also offer the shows in a podcast format as well) designed for Work From Home Enthusiasts.  The show will interview entrepreneurs who are successfully running a home based business with tips and resources on how to start a business of your own as well as tips and resources on legitimate work at home jobs.

Raven has a gift of digging for the gold in her interviews — she gets the juicy “how to information” from her guests leaving you with a plan of action to get started immediately.
