So many people think that when they get online and just put up a website, that’s all that needs to happen.  Kind of like the phrase ‘build it and they will come.’  NOT!

Unfortunately, online business doesn’t work that way.  It’s so different than a brick and mortar presence because having a physical store brings more attention to your business simply because, people are always driving around noticing the signs hanging out front and drop in just to see what’s on the inside.

What’s on your business agenda this summer? 

I’ve heard the most people tend to be passive in the summer, believing that this is the time of year where business slacks off and there’s not much money to be made.

I say hogwash!

The only thing that changes during the summer is the weather! LOL!  As a matter of fact, people do more in the summer time because there’s so much going on like vacations, socializing with barbecue’s picnics, summer gatherings, social networking and more.

Who’s Reading YOUR Message?

Writing compelling content can sometimes be a challenge.  Trying to decide what works best for your readers by gaining their attention isn’t always easy!  But there’s ALWAYS a solution :)

For example, if you use an autoresponder, tracking system or blog to gauge who’s reading your messages, what would you say your click through ratio is?  Is it low, is it medium, is it high OR is it zero?

I always think, what would be the best ‘headline’ to use when sending a message to my readers?  What makes me open my email messages as well as blog notifications?
